Army Biscuits

This one was one for the books. Let's just say some big milestones and stuff happened. Like I officially have 1 year left. Mind blowing. Try to get a hold of yourselves. And I got a special little phone call from the assistant to the president and I will no longer be in Oton next time I'm writing this email. Hah- cliff hanger. Now that I have you all on the edge of your respective seats let me share a few quick things from this week

ESTRIBOR FAMILY

We have one older couple in our ward who were some pioneering members of the church in Oton. They have been less- active for a few years but we have been visiting them recently and tatay (the father) returned to church! They are definitely my grandparents here in Oton and they always feed us so so so much food. Tatay is almost 80 and he always pulls up in Guess jeans and a yankees hat. Nanay is bedridden but always cracks jokes and keeps her vibes positive.

I don't have any pics with them but I'll get one this week.

ARMY BISCUITS

We have been trying to really only spend the support given to us by the mission and we actually did a good job but the last like 2 days before we could withdraw were exciting. There are these army biscuit things in our 72 hour kit and one day I was like I wonder what that tastes like. So I whipped one of those bad boys open, tore through the airtight seal and chowed down. I know they are like condensed gluten and probably like carb dust but let me tell ya. I'm a fan.

Sister Fifita gave us chocolate heheh. *That is not an army biscuit.*

ONE YEAR

Ok so kinda wild but this past December 27th was my 1 year left mark. That's all- just an update.

ROMANS

I'm still in my Paul phase and I have been loving these verses lately.

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

What more is there to add.

I'm still alive everyone and I have a crazy tan line from my rachet shoes.
