Hey Gov
Let's be real this week was super hard. Its been difficult finding balance in our work and having the time and energy to fulfill all our plans. Sister Pernitez and I are still striving but training so far has been a steep learning curve. Also our mission has a goal for each companionship to find 50 new people every week, which has been more than stretching. Despite the stress we still had some cool experiences. Here are some pics and words. Sorry this email will probably be shorter than normal, we just fired up the aircon and I'm feeling like I must sleep now.

IT'S NATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY GOV.
It was National Women's day this week and the Antique district Relief Society gathered to watch the worldwide Relief Society broadcast. First of all I loved how President Nelson called for righteous women to be more vocal. The whole broadcast reminded me how influential Women's participation is in both church and societal circles.
We also had a special visit from Antique's very own Governor Dodod Cadio. It was the first time she had been inside the church and she shared a message from the pulpit. Later we gave her a Book of Mormon and she called me gwapa and asked why I didn't have a husband yet. I also accidentally called her nay (mom). whoops. Anyway here we are with Gov.

This is when I told her I liked her vest and called Her mom.
PEARL
I don't have a picture but for those interested parties Pearl will hopefully be baptized this next saturday. We're praying hard for her.
ASWONG
This week I told two of our IPs, Jovie and Abu (10 and 12 years old) that I got my nose so big because I talked to an *aswong.
*witch like creature with wings and only the torso and upper half of the body.
FINDING DIANA
(see pictures)
This week, like I said earlier, we have been really pushing our finding. One night we had just a few picture of Jesus left so we made a goal to give them all away before we went home. We began talking to a nanay in her tyingge asking some normal questions and she mentioned about the MTC. And we were like whaaaaat? Anyway we found out 2 things. 1. She's actually a member, 2. She is a returned missionary but now inactive. As we talked more and learned her story we realized just how many trials she has been through. She mentioned how she feels like she just slowly wandered away from the church but now she doesn't know how to get back. Sister Bentley recommended a fabulous talk by Elder Uctdorf called “ The Prodigal and The Road That Leads Home”. I've mentioned this talk before but it's one of my faves. Sister Diana is a reminder to me just how easy it is to slip away from the covenant path and also how much Christ wants us to come back.
The Lord loves you and wants you to come back, no matter how far off the path you are.
Sorry if not all the pictures send I linked some just to make sure.
See ya next week.
Sister Larson
