From Not In
The song Stayin Alive by the Beegees Has been stuck in my head, I think my whole mission. But specifically, “I'm a woman's man, to talk.” That one and “Beautiful People” by Ed Sheeran and Khalid. I don't even like that song. Anyway, there's a little glimpse into my mind. Also thanks mom and dad I think I've eaten 20/90 Welch's fruit snacks so far and I'm currently on bag 21. #fruitisourfirstingredient.
Anyway its been another week so hopefully you also have some Welch's you can eat while you read this.
MLC
We had our Mission Leadership Council this week and it was awesome. I got to see some of my past companions, district mates and of course the Pearson's who are quickly becoming my favorites and they are everything I aspire to be.

ILOILO MLC ASSEMBLE
At MLC we talked all about moral agency. Doing what's right because we love the Lord. Because we want to. Not because we were told to. It made me really reflect. Do I do what's right because I want to or just because I was told to? President also shared a quote “If you missed the Joy, you missed it all.” If we keep the commandments because we want to we will feel the joy and freedom God so desperately wants for us.
Past and current companionssss. Sister Pecundo, Sister Bentley and Sister Castañaga!! These amazing sisters, and all my past companions mean the world to me and each of them has taught me so much. Lublublub kitaay sa pagkasal niyo.
A little love for my past areas. OTONNNNN and SAN JOSE LETS GO feat. past and current missionaries is both areaaaas.

LET'S BLOW THIS POPSICLE STAND
We have had some really awesome workers this week! One day we had three recently returned missionaries work with us which was awesome but also high key stressful. We also had 3 youth and ysa who are preparing for missions this week and they are our same age and its so fun. Also they help me with Akeanon and in exchange I help them with English. Yesterday I taught them “Lets blow this popsicle stand.” After one of our appointments sister Chrstine goes “let us blow this popsicle stands”. Definitely made my day.

FROM NOT IN
Helaman 5:10-11
Something I am slowly learning is how much Christ values our agency. He did, and is doing, literally everything he can to possibly save us- short of taking away our agency. It is still our choice is we want to be saved. If we want to change. If we want to be happy. It is on condition of our choosing to repent. In Helaman chapter 5 verse 10 it says ” And remember also the words which Amulek spake unto Zeezrom, in the city of Ammonihah; for he said unto him that the Lord surely should come to redeem his people, but that he should not come to redeem them in their sins, but to redeem them from their sins.”
Christ cannot and will not save us In our sins. He came to redeem us from our sins. He does not intend to simply leave us as we are. He knows what and who we can become, on condition of repentance. He sees our divine potential and desperately wants us to reach it. In verse 11 Amulek goes on to say “And he hath power given unto him from the Father to redeem them from their sins because of repentance; therefore he hath sent his angels to declare the tidings of the conditions of repentance, which bringeth unto the power of the Redeemer, unto the salvation of their souls.”
Elder Patrick Kearon in his recent talk “ God's Intent is to Bring You Home” said “ The intent of the Father’s plan of redemption is in fact your redemption.” But, it has to be our choice. Let us choose our redemption. Let us use our agency to be saved “on condition of repentance.”
