Nay, Busog Na Ako

Hey besties, just a quick one this week kay gusto ko matulog and not a ton happened this week. Things are still about the same here in Numancia and Sister Castañaga and I are still going strong.

EXCHANGES

We had exchanges again this week with the one and only KALIBO 2ND SISTERSSSSS.

Lots of love

I worked with Sister Oquindo in their area and sheeeesh baskog talagaaaa. Trainee pa lang pero ang baskog na man. I also got to practice my Tagalog a little bit. We met some mean people on the beach, ate some late night Frank's and of course played guitar way past our bedtime. You could say we're pretty rowdy.

MAKATO DISTIRCT

We had our district activity on the beach and we just went and looked at the water. Joke lang. We attempted volleyball, roasted some colorful marshmallows and learned that not all uno players are created equal.

Meet the fam feat. Elder Walker, Elder Bitner, Sister Licudine, Sister Ugalino, Sister Castañaga and of course I'm the one in the jorts.

A cool man gave us free key chains and invited us to his house for Mother Mary’s Birthday party. I didn’t realize she was still doing those.

LITTLE MOMENTS

This week was Disneyland Indiana Jones style rough. Lots of work with very little results. But despite the rejections and sleepiness I want to share a few of my favorite moments this week.

Explaining the entire plot of the Lorax to Sister Castañaga in Akeanon #complanguagestudy.

A drunk tatay gave us free chicharon and then forced his grandchildren to let us teach them. Thanks bestie.

Sander came to church! His grandma is a member and he has been taught for several years now. But his parents don't want him to be baptized. Bruh.

Brother Philip, one of our recent converts, invited us to his birthday party and then nanay kept making us eat more rice and drink more coke. Nay Busog na akoooo. Kaon sister gani.

Saw some cute puppies.

BOOK OF MORMON

I just wanted to quickly share my testimony of the Book of Mormon. I know the Book of Mormon is true. Sometimes I still have doubts about other aspects of the gospel, but because I know the Book of Mormon is true those doubts are insignificant. Everytime I read and reread the Book of Mormon the stories become more real, my testimony is renewed and I feel my savior's love for me. Read the Book of Mormon and then read it again. You will find something that speaks to you and you will grow closer to Christ.
