CONDOLENCE SANDWICH
(see pictures)

We dropped by one of our baptisimal candidates this week to confirm a family home evening and when we got there he was low key weird. But he was super excited and told us how he had stopped smoking cigarettes. Then we got closer to his house and saw the party and Tanduay going on inside. I was like “hey brother, did you drink alcohol?” and he was like “no” and then he threw his head back and did a joker style laugh. And I was like “you sure brother?”. Anyway, he ended up giving us sandwiches with semi cooked pasta and butter on the inside and we had to just like hold them because we didn’t want to throw it away or anything but it was not giving sandwich. Then we met a member who wanted to take a picture with us but we were still just holding our sandwiches and low key trying not to cry. Anyway. We are working to get him rescheduled for baptism but everyone pray for him.

Iloilo Mission MLC

Batchmates

Gurrrrrllllll I have got to work on my rbf. I swear I was happy to be there. I look like someone just killed my puppy.

Companions ni Sister Pecundo

MLC is always a revelatory experience. The things President shares always answers one of my personal questions or concerns of my area. I'm going to miss it.

ONE MOMENT MISSION

ACCEPTABLE TO HIM

This week I have been reflecting a ton on my mission and sometimes I feel like maybe I  didn't do enough. Pero I read in Doctrine and Covenants this week in section 124 and the very first verses were exactly what I needed to hear.

I know not only missionaries feel this way and God's response to Joseph Smith is applicable to anyone giving their best. He hears your prayers and in answer to them he says look outward. “Immediately” preach His gospel and share his love. Looking outward is the best way to find yourself.
