As the title of this email suggests this was a sick week. It actually was super normal but we got sick the second half of the week heheh. Anyway life is still good here. Everyone said being sick on your mission is the worst and I can confirm. But with that being said it actually was still a good week my body just felt like it hated me.  Happy Thanksgiving to those of you in the states! I had chicken and rice so hah.  sections (see pictures) GET THE GOAT This week we met a cute group of kids who wanted us to talk to them. So we taught them how to pray, and shared a short video about forgiving our friends and then gave them photos of Jesus. They all sat quietly and listened and anytime we asked a question each of them shot their hand up and was eager to answer. So so cute. Then when we asked if we could take a picture one of them said wait. So he ran behind the house and then came back with a goat. Obviously we couldn't take the photo until we had the goat. How foolish of us....

Hellooooooo! It's been another crazy and great week. The theme of this week is Bruno Mars and falling asleep during language study. This week my schedule was less crazy than last but we still did lots. I've been really working on trying to enjoy how long the days are and make every moment count instead of just looking forward to the next time I get to eat or rest or call home. Also I've been trying to give myself some credit for what I actually do right. #lol #selflove. Now open your eyes. Anyway, this week our neighbors were painting their fence and they hooked up a speaker and we're blasting Bruno Mars for like 3 days straight. Valid. But now I've had his music stuck in my head. Heyyyyy everyone it's been another week. This week flew by but was also the most exhausting week so far. I did a lot of traveling and working with different missionaries in different areas. I fell asleep in lots of cool places. I'm getting super good at just finding a comfy position and passing out for like 30 mins. I saw lots of beautiful places, met kind people and got to know amazing missionaries! I've also been thinking a lot about Christ's grace this week but more on that later. The work is hard but the life is good. EXCHANGES IN GUIMBAL AND TIGBAUAN  So this week Sister Francisquete had a leadership meeting and then exchanges. So for me that means that I worked with Sister Rascano for 2 ish days. The second day we traveled to Guimbal to help the new sisters there learn the area. The Guimbal sisters are Sister Dela Cruz and Sister Castañaga and they are amazeballs. Guimbal is a massive area and the people there speak Caray-ah but it is so so pretty. (see pictures) ...

Hello everyone! Another week happened. The days are long and hot but so good. This week started out on a high note with Ronica's baptism (boyah!) And then kinda went downhill from there. But even though the work was hard this week, or maybe frustrating is the better word, sister Francisquete and I have been working on "carrying our own weather." So even though it's been a bit stormy (metaphorical only- it's stinkin 'hot still) here in Oton we've still made some fun memories and met some cool people. Sections. RONICA!! Ronica was baptized this past Tuesday!! Her baptism was so sweet and her testimony is super solid. It was my first baptism so I was super excited and nervous and then she was 30 mins late. So I was panicking just a little bit. Luckily it was just a slow jeepney day and she still made it and was able to be baptized and confirmed a member of the church! Also please just ignore the footwear situation. Between the bugs and the mud its hard to fin...
