Number of Army Biscuits consumed this week: 4-6 It's been that kind of a week. With that in mind here are some pictures. DISTRICT THINGS (see pictures) This is the sisters from Sibalom district and half of the Powells! Elder and Sister Powell are the newest Senior couple here! They are from Utah and they are like my cute grandparents who live next door and need help with technology sometimes. Love them. (see pictures) This part of our area is Madrunca BayBay. Very neat. BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE You know the song by Ed Sheeran and Khalid I think? That song has been in my head all week but it's because Ed Sheeran is always on my mind. JOKE LANG it's because I keep thinking about how beautiful the faith of the people here is.  (see pictures) ABUZAR AND JOVIE Abu and jovie are two kids we've been teaching for a while and they will be baptized in April! Abu's family are members but Jovie is the pioneer in his family. We are teaching his father as well but so far Jovie is the one...

Let's be real this week was super hard. Its been difficult finding balance in our work and having the time and energy to fulfill all our plans. Sister Pernitez and I are still striving but training so far has been a steep learning curve. Also our mission has a goal for each companionship to find 50 new people every week, which has been more than stretching. Despite the stress we still had some cool experiences. Here are some pics and words. Sorry this email will probably be shorter than normal, we just fired up the aircon and I'm feeling like I must sleep now. SIBALOM SHAWTIES (see pictures) We had DCM this week and celebrated Sister Bentley's 20th bday. She's ancient na. TRAINING THINGS (see pictures) Sister Pernitez is learning Karay-a and I'm learning Tagalog. #womeninstem TRIO TIME The mission had its mission leadership conference so Sister Largo went to Iloilo and we adopted Sister Bentley for 2 ish days! I wish my MTC self new I would get to work with Sister B...

IM A MOTHER Hello everyone, I just ate an entire can of tuna and mashed it into some rice and I thoroughly enjoyed it. This was a real one. Moving on from the Tuna. I had several days in a trio, a day working in Arevalo, I met my child and experienced my first few days as a trainer. I currently do not have cool things to say about it so lets start writing and see what happens. SECTIONS TWO AMERICANS AND A BAG OF BREAD So this week when Sister Baldueza went home RIP we had a few days where I worked in a trio with Sister Pecundo, obvs, and my fabulous mtc comp Sister Bentley! Let's just say there's a reason there will probably never be two american sisters (kanas) working together. The three of us had so much fun. One member gave us a bag of the most scrumptious bread and the two of us were riding in the back of a tryke holding a bag of bread. Fulfilling every American stereotype ever. We also taught this one tatay and he speaks the fastest, craziest, deepest Karay-a ever and smo...

Sheesh what a week. This week was actually one of the longest of my mission with lots of highs and lows. We had a half mission conference, a baptisimal interview, transfer calls, extended two baptisms and a rat in the toilet. Yep. Let's get into it. JULIE So sister Julie had her baptisimal interview on Tuesday and was supposed to be baptized on Saturday but she got sick so we are hoping to do it sometime this week! She's still going strong and it has been awesome watching the spirit work on her! This is us after her interview! Feat. Elder Andersen, Elder Cabugnason and the Maza family. (see pictures) ELDER REVILLO VISITS ILOILO So this past Thursday we took a 4 hour bus trip to Iloilo for our conference with Elder Revillo. It was half of the mission so it was fun to see lots of missionaries. We had like 12 sisters in one apartment for a night which was wild. Also the next day when we got back to Antique I stepped out of the van and immediately threw up. Vibes. Here are some pic...
